»Komplexität in der Musik: Gesprächskonzert mit Stücken von György Ligeti, György Kurtág und Johann Sebastian Bach« Über die Veranstaltung: Die Pianisten Axel Gremmelspacher und Irmela Roelcke spielen Stücke von György Ligeti, György Kurtág und Johann Sebastian Bach. Einige erscheinen zunächst komplex, andere einfach, können jedoch jeweils auch aus der anderen Perspektive betrachtet werden. Die Musikwissenschaftlerin Marion Saxer, Professorin an der Goethe-Universität, führt durch den Abend und erörtert Aspekte von Einfachheit und Komplexität in der Musik. Der Konzertabend findet im Rahmen des von der Aventis Foundation geförderten Projektes »Komplexität in Wissenschaft, Kultur und Gesellschaft« am Forschungskolleg Humanwissenschaften der Goethe-Universität statt.
Das Projekt »Komplexität in Wissenschaft, Kultur und Gesellschaft« wird von Harald Schwalbe (Professor für Organische Chemie und Sprecher des Exzellenzclusters »Makromolekulare Komplexe« an der Goethe-Universität) und Matthias Lutz-Bachmann (Professor für Philosophie und Direktor des Forschungskollegs Humanwissenschaften) geleitet.
