About the eveningrnIn his lecture Professor Betzwieser will introduce new approaches to music editing with a special focus on digitally based methods. On the basis of an 18th century melodrama he will outline the way in which the »multimediality« of the sources constitutes a particular challenge to operatic editing. Excerpts from this melodrama will be musically performed.
